Mari came to us in 2017, and it was love at first sight. Diane visited Windbourne Farm to see her litter and Mari crawled into her lap like she belonged there. Evaluations and breeder picks had not been made yet, so we did not know who we were taking home when we went back 5 weeks later. But by some stroke of luck it was her, the same pup. The universe must have intended it so. Mari is fiercely loyal to her people, sweet with friends, and a fantastic and devoted mother. She finished her championship very late because she took a break to be a mom during the pandemic. 

Mari has had two litters with Axe (CH Hawkwillow Windbourne Signals and Codes) and Riggs (CH Windbourne Lethal Weapon). Her daughters are currently showing limitedly. Fizzgig is showing in the Champion class (RWB at the ABTCC National in 2022 and Select Bitch at the ABTCC Western Regional), Beth is showing in the classes (WB at the ABTCC Western Regional), and Anne is being kept on as a much loved pet after she did not turn out for the show ring.
